Our firm has experience representing people in many types of family law cases, including dissolution of marriage actions, post-decree parenting time disputes, child support matters, marital agreements (including prenuptial agreements), allocation of parental responsibilities actions, and actions involving dependency and neglect. Our attorneys are experienced at dealing with high conflict divorces and cases involving complicated financial matters, such as tracing separate property, determining income for self-employed parties, and appropriately handling trust income and distributions. In addition, our firm has experience assisting in appellate family law matters and international family law matters.

Misty Ewegen, one of our partners, is a trained Child and Family Investigator with the skills and experience necessary to help families and courts determine what is in the best interests of the children involved in high conflict divorces. The attorneys and staff at Ellis Wright & Ewegen are experienced in dealing with high conflict cases that may require the appointment of CFIs or other experts to guide the parties and the court in resolving disputes.
